Andy Robertson has become indispensable for Liverpool, but Real Madrid transfer rumors have surfaced recently

Following Ferland Mendy’s long-term absence with a thigh injury and his uncertain future, Los Blancos have been forced to field France midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in the left-back role. The former Rennes man has done a respectable job in the position, but Carlo Ancelotti appears eager to hire.

According to the Daily Mail, the Scotland captain is among the candidates for a summer move.

Alphonso Davies is another rumored target for the La Liga giants, despite Bayern Munich issuing a ‘hands-off’ notice to the Canadian defender as Thomas Tuchel attempts to extend his stay in Bavaria.

Liverpool is said to want more than £40 million for the defender. After forming a formidable partnership with fellow full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, Robertson has been instrumental in recent success under manager Jurgen Klopp.

The partnership of the 29-year-old and Sadio Mane became a key focal point for the Reds in their pursuit of Premier League and Champions League success, with Luis Diaz taking over after his departure.

However, with three years left on his contract, Robertson has’shown no inclination’ to leave Anfield, according to the Mail.
