Rangers executives are reportedly considering a transfer for a “talented” player who earns £77,000 a week and has 53 career goals.

According to a recent source, Rangers is targeting a “talented” player, which might soon change the fact that they have only been able to add Rafael Fernandes to their roster this transfer window.

Rangers extend their league winning streak to seven games. The Gers defeated Dundee United 3-1 at Tannadice Park on Thursday, recovering from a poor Europa League night against Manchester United.

Despite having a game in hand, Rangers overcame a goal deficit to fall 10 points behind Celtic thanks to goals from Robin Propper, Cyriel Dessers, and Mohamed Diomande.

The win impressed Philippe Clement, who called the performance “mature” and “brave.” “A really mature performance, a very good performance definitely in the second half as well,” Clement remarked.

They deserve to be in third place this season because they have demonstrated a great deal of quality over the last two months. They needed to show a lot of courage on the ball and power in the duels against a good Dundee United, who gave it their best. The team continues to perform well despite the significant changes we’ve had to make in the previous few weeks, which is encouraging.”
