Speculation from South America claims that Kevin Mantilla was once again on the radar of Ibrox. One can only speculate as to the veracity of those report
Rangers’ desire for a youthful, athletic, and gifted center defense with a ton of potential and high resale value is undoubtedly true. Rafael Fernandes enters. Additionally, Kevin Mantilla would have fulfilled a lot of those requirements.
Kevin Mantilla will remain in South America and will not be joining the Rangers. Fernandes is the same height as the Colombia Under-20 international, who is 6′ 3″.
He won’t even be celebrating his 22nd birthday until May. He now appears to be planning to commemorate this birthday in his native Colombia. Mantilla is now anticipated to trade Argentine team CA Talleres for Independiente Medellin since Rangers are no longer in the market for defensive reinforcements after Fernandes’ arrival.
