The Premier League has explained the peculiar VAR system that resulted in the reversal of Cody Gakpo’s Liverpool equalizer. Despite Roberto Firmino’s late goal to draw the game against Aston Villa on Saturday, Jurgen Klopp could have won all three points if Gakpo’s close-range goal had been allowed to stand.
