A player worth £50 million has made Jurgen Klopp’s target list at Liverpool

Manchester City are also thought to be considering going to the negotiating table, as their buyback clause will not be activated for another year, while Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta is also a fan.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have not entered into negotiations with Southampton at this time, but they are keeping an eye on the Belgium international’s situation following relegation to the Championship.
Saints are expected to ask for up to £50 million for Lavia as they rebuild their squad in preparation for a promotion push.

Hoare believes Liverpool will win the race to sign Lavia during the upcoming transfer window.
The RedmenTV host believes the 19-year-old is on Klopp’s radar as he looks for reinforcements in the middle of the park.

Would Lavia be a good addition to Liverpool?
According to Sofascore, Lavia averaged 2.1 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, and 0.8 clearances per Premier League game in 2022/23.
Those figures suggest that he could make it more difficult for Liverpool, who will lose James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain when their contracts expire at the end of the month.
