The Merseysiders have now moved on to other targets, including Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.

Liverpool intends to spend the money that would have been spent on Bellingham on several midfield additions rather than just one.

Liverpool are interested in Brighton’s Alexis MacAllister, according to Football Insider, and the club is concerned that the personal terms offered by the Reds will “blow them out of the water.”

The Merseysiders are also still trying to sign Matheus Nunes in the upcoming window after being beaten to his signature by Wolves last summer.

Liverpool are set to undergo a massive overhaul this summer following what has been a disappointing season at Anfield.

With less than ten games remaining in the season, they are currently eighth in the Premier League table, 12 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
