It’s not just Darwin Nunez’s goal ratio that’s improving throughout Liverpool’s preseason!
A video has emerged on Twitter (via @ThaiLFC) showing the 24-year-old expressing ‘thank you’ in confident English as he signed autographs for ecstatic Reds fans in Singapore following Sunday’s 4-0 triumph against Leicester.
The Uruguayan was also seen wearing a red LFC hat to cover off his now-trademark man bun, which was a departure from his usual appearance.

We noticed Nunez’s English improving when Liverpool returned to pre-season training at Kirkby in early July, as he had a fluent chat with Jurgen Klopp, and his linguistic skills appear to be improving rapidly.
It’s tough to say how much of it influences his on-field performance, but four goals in three games in the last two weeks would imply it’s having the desired effect!
