Following the hiring of Ange Postecoglou as the club’s new manager, the 38-year-old has been named assistant coach. He previously captained Australia during Postecoglou’s tenure as national team coach.
Jedinak has been Villa’s loan development coach for the previous two years, having taken the post after the end of his playing career at Villa Park. He made 80 appearances for the club after signing following their relegation to the Championship in 2016, leaving three years later when promotion back to the top division was secured.
