Will Campbell, an LSU football standout, has received a new NFL distinction just before his career begins.
LSU Football Standout Will Campbell has already received a huge NFL distinction before his career officially begins. Campbell is expected to enter the 2025 NFL Draft as a consensus All-American. And now you’re one of the first people invited to the first round ceremony.
According to NFL on Fox source Jordan Schultz, the towering offensive lineman has been called to Green Bay for the ceremony on April 25. However, this is who invited Campbell.
“Top NFL brass called and officially invited LSU consensus All-American OT Will Campbell to the Draft in Green Bay,” Schultz said to X.
Campbell joins a limited group of prospects in G.B. and receives this award before participating in this week’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
“The NFL is planning on being very selective this year and only plans on inviting 8-10 players who they feel are all top picks,” according to Schultz.
Is LSU’s Will Campbell a definite first-round pick?
Campbell’s invitation confirms that he will be among the first tackles selected on night one of the draft. Perhaps that was also the initial choice.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pounder is praised for his physicality and quickness. He bulldozed rushing lanes in the LSU running back room with his fists and tenacity. Campbell furiously completes his blocks.
The LSU standout competed against potential NFL players in the Southeastern Conference. That includes Texas A&M’s Shemar Stewart, who is receiving first-round acclaim.
Lance Zierlein, an NFL Network draft expert, believes Campbell will become a “good starter within two years.” The three-year starting tackle has even received a top-10 draft ranking from Bleacher Report draft guru Brandon Thorn, who ranks Campbell as the league’s eighth-best draft prospect. Thorn feels Campbell is also capable of sliding inside.
“He has the makeup, movement skills, play strength, and competitive toughness to make a smooth transition to guard or center and be an impact starter with Pro Bowl potential during his rookie contract,” Thorn told reporters.
LSU has generated 384 total NFL draft choices, according to the school. There have been a total of 276 throughout the Super Bowl era. Campbell is set to join the ranks of LSU draft choices.
