Liverpool is now in the running for ‘one of the best three midfielders in Europe,’ according to reports; the Reds may ‘double’ his salaries.

Over the last few months, the Reds have been linked with a number of great midfielders.

One name that has been tied with Liverpool for a long time has reappeared in the news.

Nicolo Barella is an Inter Milan and Italy star.

Fabrizio Romano recently asked Liverpool fans to “keep an eye” on the Reds’ interest in him.

“Jurgen Klopp has always been a big fan of Barella, so let’s wait and see what happens at Liverpool.”

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport – via Sport Witness – the Reds may possibly be winning the race.

The Reds appear to be “at the head of the pack” of suitors.

This is because they want to reclaim the ‘electricity’ they once possessed on the pitch.

Any of the Premier League clubs could ‘practically quadruple’ his salary.

That is why his representative, Alessandro Beltrami, appears to be seeking for his client in England.

Although Inter do not want to sell Barella, a large transfer money could sway their decision.

According to the article, negotiations would begin at €80 million, which equates to approximately £68.5 million.

If ‘the courtship, notably that of Klopp, has reached his ears,’ he hasn’t said anything in response.

Nonetheless, ‘if the British interest became more compelling,’ Barella’s position may alter.

Barella is a fantastic player who would be a fantastic addition to the Liverpool squad.

Klopp is a big fan of the midfielder, and now is the time to try to sign him.

The Reds desperately need additional middle-of-the-park reinforcements, and Barella is in his prime.

Former Italy star Nicola Berti declared before of Euro 2020 that the alleged Liverpool target was one of the greatest in Europe.
