Liverpool are considering making a bid to sign Renato Sanches from French champions Paris Saint-Germain

Jurgen Klopp, according to Football Insider, is a huge fan of the Portuguese international and even asked the Reds to sign him last year. He did, however, end up joining PSG.

The Seleccao midfielder has only started five games in Ligue 1 this season and has been placed on the market.

In such a case, the news outlet reports that Liverpool is considering a bid to finally entice the 25-year-old star.

Sanches is a dynamic player who can fill a variety of roles in the center of the field. His current PSG contract expires in 2027, and he earns around £132,000 per week (Football Transfers).

He was a key member of Portugal’s squad that won the European Championships in 2016 at the age of 18. Unfortunately, he has not been consistent since then.

He had a failed loan spell in the Premier League with Swansea City in 2017-18.

The most serious issue is that he is prone to injuries. This season, he has been out with multiple muscle issues, and he is currently out with an abductor issue.

Liverpool already has an aging midfield, but Klopp has had to deal with injury-prone players such as Ox, Keita, and Thiago.

Not to mention, we signed Arthur on loan from Juventus last year, and the Brazilian star is set to return to Turin after this season.

To be fair, we should avoid injury-prone stars and should not pursue Renato Sanches. What are your thoughts?
