Jude Bellingham would rather stay at Borussia Dortmund this summer than be forced into a move that isn’t a good fit for him
According to The Times, the midfielder is willing to stay in the Bundesliga for the 2023/24 season if necessary.
Bellingham is one of the most sought-after players in the world, having played 128 times for Dortmund and 24 times for England at the age of 19.
After rising through the ranks at Birmingham City, the midfielder has been heavily linked with a return to England.
Manchester City and Manchester United, as well as Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, are all interested in the midfielder.
However, Liverpool has withdrawn their interest due to the reported £130 million price tag.
“To be honest, there’s nothing to say about it,” Jurgen Klopp said.
“If we don’t talk about players we’re signing or not signing, why would I now?”
Klopp went on to say, “It’s not about Jude Bellingham.”
“I’ve never understood why we’re always talking about things we theoretically can’t have.” You must recognize your abilities. It’s all about what you’re capable of, and you work with that.
“You have to make do with what you’ve got.” We are not youngsters. You wouldn’t tell a five-year-old that he wants a Ferrari for Christmas and then say, “That’s a good idea.” It’s too costly, and you can’t drive it.
“Whatever we need and want, we try everything to get it, but there are times when you have to accept it’s not possible and step back and do something else.”
