Sadio Mane is expected to make a sensational return to Liverpool one year after leaving for Bayern Munich, while Manchester United and Aston Villa are among the clubs interested in signing Joao Felix after Chelsea decided not to keep him, according to Friday’s Transfer Gossip

Rather than allowing Mane to enter the final year of his contract, Liverpool sold him to Bayern last summer. Jurgen Klopp’s side lacked the same dynamism in and out of possession that the Senegal international provided.

Mane’s life hasn’t gone as planned since their split. His time with Bayern has been overshadowed most notably by a spat with Leroy Sane.

According to Bild, both Mane and Sane, as well as Serge Gnabry, are available for sale this summer if a good offer comes in.

In Mane’s case, a return to Liverpool has been mentioned, despite the club having recently signed Darwin Nunez from Benfica and Cody Gakpo from Ajax.

Liverpool failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League without Mane, whereas Bayern won the Bundesliga and will be back in UEFA’s top competition.

Mane, on the other hand, has discovered that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. As a result, if Liverpool are serious about re-signing the former Southampton star, a U-turn is possible.

Mane scored 120 goals in 269 appearances for Liverpool during his first spell with the club. In comparison, he has scored 12 goals in 38 games for Bayern.

AMONG THE FELIX CONTENDERS ARE MAN UTD AND ASTON VILLA.
Chelsea have already decided not to sign Joao Felix after he leaves Atletico Madrid on loan, but he could stay in the Premier League.

After securing Champions League football, Newcastle has already been mentioned as a possible destination for Felix. However, Mundo Deportivo reports that Aston Villa are also interested.

Unai Emery has guided them into the Europa Conference League for next season and would like them to make an effort to sign Felix to raise the level of their squad.

It is recalled that Villa already attempted to beat Chelsea to Felix in January. They may now have a better chance of completing a deal after finishing above the Blues this season.

Apart from Newcastle, Villa’s rivals for Felix’s signature will include his former club Benfica, as well as Bayern Munich, PSG, Inter, and Juventus – and possibly Arsenal and Manchester United.

According to the report, Erik ten Hag would gladly welcome Felix into his squad after Manchester United turned down a previous loan offer for the Portugal international.

Jorge Mendes, Felix’s agent, is said to be already working on a possible solution.

WOLVES WISH FOR WARD-PROWSE
According to reports, Wolves are the latest club interested in signing Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse.

Ward-Prowse has spent his entire career with Southampton, but his future there must now be considered following their relegation to the Championship, especially with Euro 2024 set to take place the following season.

Several clubs are interested in bringing the free-kick specialist back into the Premier League. He has already been linked with West Ham United.

According to The Sun, Wolves, along with West Ham, Aston Villa, and Newcastle, could be among the other suitors for Ward-Prowse.

To satisfy Southampton, who have their captain under contract until 2026, any of them will have to pay a transfer fee of around £40 million.

LIVERPOOL IS INVOLVED IN MANE RETURN

According to reports in the German press, Sadio Mane may be returning to Liverpool after only one season with Bayern Munich.
