Having played against a large number of Premier League players during his time at Manchester United, the Belgian has singled out one in particular as one of the greatest around right now.

Liverpool paid £75 million to sign the center-back from Southampton during the January transfer window in 2018.

Since then, the Dutchman has made 224 appearances for the Merseyside club in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and giving 12 assists while helping the club win the Premier League and the Champions League.

He was also named UEFA’s Best Player in Europe in 2019, highlighting how important a signing he has been for Jurgen Klopp’s team.

According to De Bruyne, Van Dijk has it all.

In a recent video on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, De Bruyne rated Van Dijk ahead of Chelsea’s Thiago Silva and Manchester United’s Lisandro Martinez in terms of defensive ability.

“He’s got everything,” he explained. I’m obviously familiar with him, but he’s got a right foot, a left foot, a good pace, a good height, and he’s a leader.”
