Jürgen Klopp was spotted ecstatic on the sidelines after an 89th-minute goal by Stefan Bajcetic as Liverpool upset Leicester
Despite failing to score a goal, the Reds defeated the Foxes 2-1, with Wout Faes scoring two own goals to give the Merseysiders three points.
Klopp was seen gesticulating frantically on the touchline as the game entered a messy moment for Liverpool in the closing seconds.
After Bajcetic surged into a powerful challenge on Luke Thomas in the 89th minute, the 55-year-old was seen pumping his fists dramatically on the touchline, almost as if his team had scored.
Only three minutes after replacing Harvey Elliott, the Spaniard brought Anfield and Klopp to their feet with a courageous tackle that stopped a Leicester onslaught during a tense period for Liverpool.
The rest of Klopp’s team was looking fatigued as Leicester found themselves with lots of time on the ball, which is why the German was so happy to see Bajcetic inject some energy into the game.
Bajcetic, who is only 18 years old, is making an immediate effect under Klopp, who is dealing with a midfield issue.
Liverpool’s depth in that area is badly weak, but the issue has offered an opportunity for the teenager to step up and impress, which he surely is.
LIVERPOOL MUST MAKE A CHANGE AFTER A 2-1 WIN OVER LEICESTER.
If Liverpool continues to play as they did against Leicester in the second half of the season, they will be extremely unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.
It was a sluggish performance with plenty of wayward finishing, while midfielders like Harvey Elliott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain struggled to make an impression.
Solid tackle from Bajcetic on Thomas earns applause from Klopp, and about 50,000 Liverpudlians.

After seeing that performance, Klopp just needs to buy at least one new midfielder.
If not, Bajcetic has earned a starting spot in the coming weeks after impressing with a goal against Aston Villa and a committed cameo against Leicester.
