Conor Bradley is expected to make an impression at Liverpool during pre-season.

The Athletic reports on this.

With Calvin Ramsay poised to join Preston North End on loan, Liverpool will be short of right-backs moving into the summer, and Bradley will have an opportunity to prove what he can do.

This follows an extraordinarily successful loan spell at Bolton, when Bradley was named Player of the Year.

The 19-year-old appears to be a talent, and while it’s easy to dismiss someone who played in League One last season, we must remember that these young players may progress by leaps and bounds.

Indeed, some of the Premier League’s top players in recent years had previously played in League One.

At one point, both James Maddison and Harry Kane were playing in the lesser levels.

At your danger, dismiss Bradley. He’s been dubbed ‘amazing’ for a reason, and it wouldn’t surprise us in the least if he gave Klopp something to think about this summer.

Of course, due to the presence of Trent Alexander-Arnold, getting into the first-team at Anfield at right-back is an almost impossible challenge, but once Alexander-Arnold turned into a hybrid midfield role towards the conclusion of last season,

perhaps a space might open up for Bradley.

Right-back has been a problem position for Liverpool in recent years, and Bradley might be the answer.

This is a big summer for the teenager, and if he takes advantage of it, he might be in for a big year at Anfield.

Don’t be surprised if this young man plays some role for Liverpool next season.
