Even though the season is still a long way off, Tottenham Hotspur undoubtedly had a very successful summer transfer window
Even though Ange Postecoglou had just recently joined the team and was handling the Harry Kane situation, significant progress had been achieved.
James Maddison and Micky van de Ven have both shown themselves to be outstanding additions and excellent values.
Brennan Johnson is also making an impression on games, even if he hasn’t yet made his way into the starting lineup.
Naturally, the good business continued in January with the arrival of Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner, who both provided crucial depth.
Since they all joined the Spurs, it appears that every name mentioned has adapted so nicely.
And after joining in the summer, James Maddison has now shared some thoughts on his experiences at Tottenham, which will make fans extremely happy.
Speaking to We Are Tottenham TV following the Spurs’ victory against Crystal Palace over the weekend, Maddison expressed how much he enjoyed playing for the team.
James Maddison is thrilled to be back at Tottenham following his summer transfer.
Maddison stated he saw a chance to start as number ten for the Spurs this season and correctly assumed he would blend in.
“I adore it here,” he declared. I’ve always been a fan of some of the players who have filled my position on previous Spurs teams, so I feel like this club was designed just for me.
“When I was considering my summertime options, I just noticed that there might have been a small opening for me to come and fit in with this team and this club, and everyone has embraced me so wonderfully – so thank you for that.”
This season, Maddison and Tottenham have benefited greatly from this move, and it will be intriguing to see who joins in the summer to support the England international in leading the team.
Recently, Gary Lineker has shared his thoughts about the three recent deals he thinks are the greatest, complimenting the club’s hiring process.
Additionally, supporters will be hoping to see Tottenham show off its strength once more since the team is believed to be in good financial standing heading into the off-season.
