Callum Hudson-Odoi is on the verge of leaving Chelsea for Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest Fabrizio Romano believes this.
Romano, a well-known journalist, has given the transfer move his famous ‘here we go’ status, indicating that the deal is nearing completion.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was a Chelsea academy player, is likely to seal a permanent move to the City Ground.
Hudson-Odoi, 22, will have a physical on Friday morning before signing with Forest, according to Romano.
“Callum Hudson-Odoi to Nottingham Forest, here we go!” Romano commented on X. After a verbal agreement was revealed two days earlier, a deal with Chelsea was ultimately finalised.
“Medical tests are scheduled for early morning, after which CHO (Hudson-Odoi) will sign on as a new Forest player.”
The Evening Standard reported in mid-August that Forest, Everton, and Fulham were vying for Chelsea’s £8 million-rated Hudson-Odoi.
Now, the teenage attacker has joined Steve Cooper’s Forest in an attempt to resurrect his career.
There is no official word on how much the Reds will pay to sign Hudson-Odoi on a long-term deal.
We can only wish the 22-year-old winger the best of luck and hope he lives up to his full potential.
