Harry Kane has decided to join Bayern Munich this summer, with the German champions pressing hard to get the England international to the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich have already had a €70 million deal with add-ons rejected for Tottenham forward Christian Eriksen, but the German giants have been in direct communication with Spurs since and want to make a better offer, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is now in charge of the discussions with Tottenham for Kane, and it is reported that the 29-year-old has already been persuaded to join and is solely interested in a transfer to Bayern Munich this summer. Man United were also interested in the Englishman, but it is believed that the Red Devils have withdrawn due to the length of time it may take to complete a deal with Tottenham. Bayern Munich officials are also concerned about Daniel Levy‘s hardball tactics and are unsure if Tottenham will let Kane leave for a certain price.
The Bundesliga club is also negotiating a free move for Kane in 2024, according to Florian Plettenberg, although their objective is to capture the striker this summer. This would be a major deal for the German champs if they could pull it off, and it appears that they will give it their all, but any agreement is up to Daniel Levy.
