Harry Kane and Dele Alli show true Spurs colors following Aston Villa victory

Latest Tottenham news: Harry Kane and Dele make their thoughts known following the win against Aston Villa.

Following Tottenham’s Premier League victory over Aston Villa, Harry Kane and Dele Alli both sent messages to the club. The former Spurs duo were part of a famous offensive quartet under Mauricio Pochettino, featuring Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min, who is still at the club and played a major role in the 4-1 victory over Villa.

The club captain has missed the last two games due to injury, having only recently returned from a hamstring issue that sidelined him for three weeks. Morgan Rogers scored the first goal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but Brennan Johnson converted Son’s deep cross just after the break.

Following a previous defeat, Ange Postecoglou chose to remove his captain in the 55th minute, as the hosts lost momentum, until Dominic Solanke struck twice in two minutes to put the Lilywhites in complete control. James Maddison then sealed the victory with a fantastic free kick from the bench.

When asked about the goal, he remarked, “I know I can be dangerous against them, but I probably haven’t shown it to Spurs fans yet.” To be honest, I don’t believe we’ve had many of those opportunities, for whatever reason.

With Maddison clearly enjoying that moment, maybe proving a point after being pulled from the starting XI, Alli has responded with a simple four-word message. In response to the Tottenham star’s Instagram video of the goal, Alli wrote: “Bend it like Beckham.”

Kane, like Alli, expressed his views about Tottenham when asked what he planned to do on Sunday afternoon after scoring twice in Bayern Munich’s win against Union Berlin on Saturday. When asked about his plans on his Cleats Club app, he said, “A relaxing Sunday with the family and watching the Spurs game.” “Great second half.”

Though both have now left the club, it remains very clear that they are keeping a close eye on proceedings in north London. The victory took Spurs up to 18 points, two away from Villa, and with the chance to move up to third heading into the November international break if results go their way.
