In Sunday afternoon’s 2-2 draw with Motherwell at Fir Park, Rangers were embroiled in yet another VAR dispute.
Even though the ball seemed to hit Apostolos Stamatelopoulos’ arm before he tucked it past Jack Butland, the first-half goal was upheld.
Despite Robin Propper’s poor clearing header effort, the ball did strike Stamatelopoulos’ arm.
According to Keith Hackett, the goal should have been disallowed by referee Kevin Clancy, VAR Steven McLean, and VAR assistant Alan Mulvanny.
The former FIFA and Premier League referee told Ibrox News, “This is handball.”
“The forward’s body movement and contact with the ball should have resulted in this goal being chalked off because his hands and arm are not in a natural position.”
Rangers will fire Clement following the most recent VAR dispute.

Inaccurate VAR calls can result in managers, including Clement, being fired, according to former PGMOL general manager Hackett.
“When the Scottish FA implemented VAR, they hoped it would enhance the standard of decision-making in the Scottish Premiership,” Hackett continued.
These significant choices are arbitrary, especially when it comes to handball. I believe there is a blatant handling offense when the ball strikes the forward while it is being cleared upfield.
Referees must focus on making these important choices correctly. At the highest level, the repercussions of making a mistake are crucial.
Along with his coaching staff, managers may lose their jobs as a result. Relegation or losing out on UEFA qualification are possible outcomes.
“It is crucial that Head of Referees Willie Collum examines these incidents and takes the necessary steps to provide the relevant operational advice.”
