Leeds United have allegedly rejected an offer from Burnley for winger Crysencio Summerville, becoming the club’s eighth signing of the summer

Daniel Farke will have a busy transfer deadline, with many Whites players still being targeted by Premier League clubs.

Leeds would undoubtedly want to keep his finest players if they are to win promotion from the Championship at the first try.

Summerville will also be essential to their marketing campaign. Last season, the 21-year-old appeared in 33 games for Leeds in all competitions, scoring five goals and assisting on six others.

Summerville also scored in the Whites’ Championship opener against Cardiff, but has been sidelined since with a minor injury.

He is seen as having immense potential, and as a result, several Premier League clubs are interested in him. One of them is Burnley.

According to famous transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Burnley made a £20 million bid for Summerville “in the last 24 hours.”

Despite the fact that it was a club-record offer for Burnley, Leeds rejected it ‘out of hand,’ with Romano adding that there was ‘little hope’ of a trade being completed for such a low sum. It remains to be seen whether they will respond with a higher bid.

Glen Kamara has signed a contract with Leeds United.

Farke is attempting to retain his top players while also attempting to add new players to his roster. Leeds has now signed seven new players (two on loan), but their work is far from done.

According to Romano, former Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has ‘just signed as a new Leeds player.’

This is wonderful news for Farke, who has long desired the Finland international. Kamara had a physical with Leeds today, as previously reported, and it appears that everything went well.

Kamara is anticipated to replace highly rated 21-year-old Sam Greenwood, who left Elland Road earlier today for Middlesbrough.

Greenwood may not be the only midfielder to leave Leeds before the deadline, as Darko Gyabi has also been linked with a transfer away from the club.

Kamara, Illia Gruev, Ethan Ampadu, Archie Grey, Jamie Shackleton, and Lewis Bate are currently among Farke’s midfield alternatives.
