The Reds have made significant transfers this summer, signing Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai for a total fee of £95 million, and they’re not done yet.

The signing of Romeo Lavia appears to be the most likely next step in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield reconstruction, however Thiago Alcantara may be on his way out.

Journalist David Lynch discussed the likelihood of the 20-year-old joining the Reds on The Redmen TV.

“If there was even a remote possibility that they could make this work, I think Liverpool would do it,” he stated. They are really fond of him. He’s a local, and he meets the description in so many ways. I believe he would be the ideal signing in that role.

“I know there’s been contact on the agents’ end, and they’re keeping an eye on him.” It’s one that, if they receive even the tiniest hint that they might be able to work something out with Chelsea, I believe they’ll pay a high price for.”

Liverpool is ready to complete a record-breaking signing.
According to journalist Felix Johnston, despite Chelsea informed Liverpool that Colwill is not for sale, the Reds have made touch with his agency once more. He claims that Liverpool would be willing to pursue a transaction “even at a record price.”
