Despite Tottenham’s victory over Brentford, Jamie O’Hara believes ‘genuine’ fans are ‘done’ with the ‘unbelievable’ Tottenham star.

Tottenham reduced the strain on themselves by defeating Brentford 3-1 in the Premier League on Saturday

Ange Postecoglou has come under fire after Tottenham lost to Arsenal last week and were fortunate to defeat Coventry in the League Cup.

But the greatest prescription for all of this is to win, and they accomplished it by defeating Thomas Frank’s confident team, with Dominic Solanke scoring his first goal for Tottenham.

A lot of attention was focused on the club’s record transfer, especially Brennan Johnson, who disabled social media after receiving criticism from supporters; he has since scored in back-to-back matches.

However, it appears that there are more players under scrutiny at Tottenham, as Jamie O’Hara mentioned following the win over Brentford.

In addition to Solanke and Johnson scoring, James Maddison took some of the load off himself, and captain Son Heung-min provided two assists.

The South Korean international has been with the club for nearly a decade and is regarded as a club legend by many.

O’Hara remarked that Son has been a ‘unbelievable’ and ‘fantastic’ player for the club since his arrival under Mauricio Pochettino in 2015.

However, O’Hara believes the 32-year-old is ‘done’ and should be replaced, as the only reason he is starting is that ‘no one else is better’.

Son scored 17 Premier League goals and assisted ten times last season, and he has five goal involvements in five league games this season.

According to O’Hara, even ‘real’ Tottenham fans believe the Korean star is done and should go on.

Son Heung-min’s performances at Tottenham
“How do you feel about Sonny?” O’Hara inquired. “I feel like I’m over the hill with him. I just think the fans and everyone are over him. The correct fans. He isn’t doing it.

“The quality in the final third has dropped. He’s 33; will he pass people? Listen, he has been a wonderful and unbelievable player. A Tottenham great.

One of the things about Son is that he is always ready to play; perhaps if he was out of the team for a few months, guys like O’Hara would realize how vital he is to the club.

The Harry Kane and Son combo at Tottenham will be remembered forever as one of the best the Premier League has ever produced.

View: ‘Outstanding’ Tottenham gem can solve Ange Postecoglou’s problem after what he accomplished today

Ange Postecoglou will do well to keep an eye on Tottenham Under-21 goalkeeper Luca Gunter

Postecoglou is now dealing with a number of challenges.

Spurs’ start to the season has been extremely disappointing, with the North London club only averting disaster after defeating Coventry City 2-1 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday (18 September).

One of the most significant issues shown during that encounter was in the goalkeeping department.

Guglielmo Vicario has faced criticism in recent weeks. As a result, when Fraser Forster was given the start against Coventry City, he had an excellent opportunity to impress Postecoglou.

However, he failed to impress. Instead, the 36-year-old’s performance was so lackluster that ex-Spurs scout Bryan King has urged Tottenham to recruit a new number two.

Searching for another goalkeeper is the last thing Postecoglou needs to do right now as he works to resolve Spurs’ other issues and get the club back on track. As a result, the Australian will be relieved to learn that a solution to his difficulty may be there in front of him.
Ange Postecoglou should give an opportunity to Luca Gunter at Tottenham.

It is unusual for a goalkeeper to concede four goals and yet garner great accolades. However, this is precisely what occurred to Gunter on Friday (20 September).

According to Spurs’ official website (20 September), the 19-year-old was in “outstanding” form despite his side’s 4-1 defeat to Fulham’s Under-21s in Premier League 2.

The shot-stopper made a number of saves, and the final scoreline was an unjust representation of his overall effort against Stevenage.

While he is still young, there aren’t many goalkeepers to obstruct Gunter’s progress. Brandon Austin and Alfie Whiteman are also unproven, while Forster has done little to earn the number-two spot.

Therefore, with the UEFA Europa League ready to begin this month, Postecoglou should give Gunter an opportunity to stake his claim.

In other Tottenham news, a Premier League loan has been proposed for a “hugely promising” player at the club.
