Alexis MacAllister, a midfielder for Brighton and Hove Albion, will join Liverpool at the end of the season, with a deal already in place
According to TyC Sports, the midfielder ‘will leave Brighton for a fortune’ and join Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
They claim that Mac Allister’s “sensational season,” which included winning the World Cup in Qatar and helping Brighton finish in the top six of the Premier League, “will propel him to a global giant.”
Although the deal is not yet official, he will play for Liverpool next season, despite the fact that they are unlikely to be in the Champions League.
The Reds plan to sign Mac Allister from Brighton on a’multi-year deal’ worth around €70 million, hoping to beat Chelsea to his signature.
There’s no word on how much the Argentine will earn at Anfield, only that everything appears to be in place for him to move at the end of the season.
It’s unclear whether Liverpool will pay the €70 million upfront or in installments, but it appears the Reds have already identified and secured the new midfielder that Klopp desperately needs for his summer rebuild.
