Crystal Palace are allegedly interested in signing Arnaut Danjuma after Tottenham Hotspur chose not to extend his loan term.
Crystal Palace are interested in signing Arnaut Danjuma, who spent the second part of last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from Villarreal, according to The Sun journalist Jack Rosser on Twitter.
In the January transfer window, the 26-year-old winger joined Spurs on loan from Villarreal.
The Dutch international failed to create an impression at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
During his loan tenure with Spurs, Danjuma made one start and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League.
In those games, the winger scored one goal.
The Dutchman also scored one goal in two substitute appearances for Spurs in the FA Cup.
According to Rosser, Palace aim to sign Danjuma during the summer transfer window.
Villarreal are seeking a price of £25 million for the winger, although the Spanish club are open to another loan deal.
What should Crystal Palace do with Arnaut Danjuma, a former Tottenham Hotspur loanee?
Crystal Palace, in our opinion, should strive to get a loan agreement for Arnaut Danjuma rather than signing the winger on a permanent basis.
At Spurs, the winger didn’t do anything of note.
Of course, we must note that the winger joined Tottenham in the midst of the season, and the North London club struggled in the second part of the season.
As a result, the winger’s performance suffered as a result.
However, Palace would be wise to be cautious about the winger and wait to see how he performs on loan before offering him a permanent contract.
