Cooper Flagg scores 16 points as Duke defeats Miami for its 25th victory.

Cooper Flagg contributes six assists and five rebounds as the Blue Devils win 97-60.

Coral Gables, Florida — Kon Knueppel scored 20 points, Cooper Flagg of Newport, Maine, and Isaiah Evans each added 16, and No. 2 Duke defeated Miami 97-60 on Tuesday night.


Flagg, the expected No. 1 selection in the NBA draft, had six assists and five rebounds for the Blue Devils (25-3, 16-1 Atlantic Coast Conference).


Duke led by 15 at halftime, and Knueppel scored eight points during the Blue Devils’ 16-2 run early in the second half, extending the advantage to 65-36.


Lynn Kidd scored 17 points and Jalil Bethea added 13 for Miami (6-22, 2-15), which played without guard Matthew Cleveland. Miami has lost four games by 35 or more points this season, after four defeats from 1987 to 2024.
