Mia Hutchinson Says “Yes” Under the Eiffel Tower as Brother Aidan Prepares for NFL Comeback
In a moment straight out of a fairytale, Mia Hutchinson—the sister of Detroit Lions star Aidan Hutchinson—shared heartwarming news: she’s engaged! Mia’s longtime partner, Tim, proposed in a stunning Parisian setting, choosing none other than the iconic Eiffel Tower as the backdrop for their big moment.
Mia took to Instagram to reveal the joyous occasion, posting a sweet photo of Tim kissing her on the cheek while she flashed her dazzling engagement ring. In the caption, she celebrated the milestone in their decade-long relationship:
“10 years as my boyfriend… now my FIANCÉ!!!!!!”
Their engagement celebration didn’t end there. The next morning, Mia gave followers a glimpse of their romantic getaway with a photo of their elegant French breakfast, captioned simply:
“We love a Parisian breakfast.”

While Mia embraces this exciting new chapter in her personal life, her brother Aidan is making strides in his professional journey. The standout defensive end for the Lions is on the comeback trail after suffering a leg injury in Week 6 of last season.
Speaking from Detroit’s training facility, Aidan confirmed that he’s fully cleared and back in action:
“I got cleared a while back, and now I’m just rolling with the boys. It feels like I’m back to being myself again.”
The former No. 2 overall pick has already been active in OTAs and minicamp, setting the stage for what he hopes will be a breakout 2025 season. Reflecting on his time away, Aidan shared just how much returning to the game means to him:
“When I step onto that field again for the first time, no one will appreciate it more than I will. Getting to compete on that big stage again — that’s what lights my fire. That’s why I play.”
Before the injury, Hutchinson had played in five games, tallying 19 total tackles (12 solo). Still under his rookie deal valued at $35.71 million, the rising defensive star is rumored to be in line for a lucrative contract extension that could place him among the NFL’s highest-paid edge rushers.
For the Hutchinson family, it’s a season of both personal joy and professional resurgence—romance in Paris and redemption on the gridiron.
