Confirmed lineups | Newcastle against Tottenham

We can now declare the starting lineup and replacements for today’s Premier League match at Newcastle United (Sunday, September 1, 1.30pm UK)

Ange Postecoglou makes two changes to the lineup that started against Everton last week.

Radu Dragusin makes his first appearance of the season at the heart of our defense, replacing Micky van de Ven, who has not made the trip to St James’ Park. In contrast, Pape Matar Sarr replaces Brennan Johnson, with Sarr expected to slot into midfield and Dejan Kulusevski pushing on into the front three.

Starting lineup: Vicario, Pedro Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Udogie, Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison, Kulusevski, Son (captain), and Odobert.


Replacements: Forster, Spence, Davies, Devine, Gray, Bentancur, Bergvall, Johnson, Werner.

Newcastle’s lineup is as follows…

Starting lineup: Pope, Livramento, Krafth, Burn, Kelly, Guimaraes (captain), Joelinton, Longstaff, Gordon, Isak, and Barnes.

Subs: Dubravka, Trippier, Tonali, Targett, Osula, Hall, J Murphy, Almiron, and A Murphy.
