‘Breath of new air’: Ferguson is amazed by the ‘Brilliant’ Rangers’ performance

Rangers star Hamza Igamane has amazed Derek Ferguson with his recent contributions to the Ibrox team

The Morocco international has been playing well lately, scoring in three of the Gers’ past four games. On Sunday, the attacker was crucial to the team’s 3-0 victory over Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.

Ferguson discussed his thoughts on Igamane’s recent form in a live broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland on December 8, at 14:14 p.m.

“The young man Igamane is a true breath of fresh air.” He claimed that although the manager was working to bring him up to speed, he has been absolutely outstanding in the last few games.

“He took his goal brilliantly and is off the cuff. He had three or four nutmegs this afternoon.”

Ted McMinn, as you recall, said, “Igamane has that unpredictable quality.”

Hamza Igamane might be the solution Rangers were looking for.
Rangers supporters would have likely laughed in your face if you had told them that Philippe Clement would still be in charge and that they would be two points behind Aberdeen in second place just a few weeks ago.

That is actually the case at Ibrox, though, as the Gers’ recent surge in play has allowed them to close the gap between themselves and the top two.

Rangers’ final third-play has been their biggest issue this season, but since Igamane joined the squad, things appear to be improving for the Ibrox team.

Naturally, Clement’s recent improvement in form would also have been influenced by the way he has reorganized his squad, but if Igamane can continue to score goals, his newfound skill could be crucial to the Ibrox team resuming their title fight.

The future of the Morocco international and Rangers will only become clear with time, but things now appear to be improving.
