Rangers fans have every right to be upset—I’m frustrated as well.
Rangers manager Philippe Clement acknowledges the supporters’ frustration following his team’s unexpected Scottish Cup loss to Queen’s Park.
Rangers aim for a quarterfinal position in the Scottish Cup, and Hagi needs a full 90-minute effort.
Ianis Hagi is urging Rangers to deliver a complete 90-minute performance as they aim to secure a spot in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals.
The team hosts Queen’s Park at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon, benefiting from a full week of preparation—an advantage Hagi hopes will pay off.
With Hibernian, Celtic, Dundee, Livingston, St Johnstone, and Aberdeen already in the draw for the next round, Rangers must avoid an upset to join them in the last eight.
Reflecting on their preparation, Hagi said, “We had a solid week of training, working on things we don’t always have time for during the season, and we made the most of it. Hopefully, we can cap it off with a strong performance today.”
He emphasized the importance of keeping a clean sheet and entertaining the home fans. “We’ve improved defensively, and playing in front of our supporters, we want to make them enjoy the game and see goals go in.”
Hagi also noted their analysis of Queen’s Park, acknowledging potential tactical adjustments from their opponents. However, he reinforced Rangers’ focus: “We respect every opponent, but this is our home. We want to win, advance to the next round, and give the fans a full 90-minute performance to enjoy their Sunday.”
