Ange Postecoglou claims Spurs’ star gets better every time he watches him.

Simon Jordan has asked for action to be taken when pyrotechnics were set off before Rangers’ League Cup semi-final against Motherwell this Sunday

With both sets of fans blamed for the incident at Hampden Park on November 3, referee Nick Walsh chose to postpone the start of the game due to poor visibility.

Football fans are well aware of the consequences of bringing banned things into stadiums, and with Scotland enacting a new pyrotechnics law, Jordan is not going to let those who breach the laws off the hook.

Jordan spoke live on talkSPORT on Monday (4 November, 11:45am): “The clubs should, and I personally would, take it as a personal front.”

“In the stadiums over which I have power, I would raise stewarding and policing levels, remove these fools and prohibit them, and then make sure people’s employers know who was banned to demonstrate how serious I am. It’s a criminal crime in Scotland, according to my knowledge.

Rangers fans face suspension over Scottish League Cup pyrotechnics?
Football supporters are well aware of the serious consequences of carrying pyrotechnics into stadiums, especially on this occasion where kickoff has been delayed.

Of course, punishing all spectators would be exceedingly unfair because only a small few chose to disobey the laws, but with the game conducted at a neutral venue, it becomes more difficult to determine who is to blame.

Fans are keen to demonstrate their love and loyalty to their club, especially when a berth in the Scottish League Cup is on the line, but they appear to have gone too far this time.

Ange Postecoglou claims Spurs’ star improves every time he watches him.

Ange Postecoglou believes that one Tottenham teenager improves with each training session and game, and that he has the potential to become a top player

Underused Spurs man needs to step up.
Radu Dragusin has not played as many minutes as he would like since joining Tottenham at the beginning of the year.

However, the Romanian now gets a chance to impress over the next three games as Micky van de Ven sustained a hamstring injury that will keep him out until after the international break.

The 22-year-old will be eager to demonstrate his qualities, and Postecoglou has no doubts about them.

Ange Postecoglou praised Radu Dragusin.
Postecoglou has now talked glowingly about Dragusin’s abilities and mentality, noting that the centre-back works hard every day on various facets of his game.

When asked about the defender’s time at Tottenham so far, Postecoglou told Football.London: “Radu’s been with us for 10 months and I think he’s been fantastic.

“We signed him because we recognized some pretty great qualities in him in terms of his defending talents, his mindset, and, again, a really unusual trajectory in which he had to work hard to get where he wanted to go. So he had everything I was looking for.

“He is still young, and he works hard every day to improve his game in all aspects. Defenders, the excellent ones, tend to improve with age and experience, and with him, people like Micky and Destiny, we signed them at the age they did because we believe they will get stronger in the coming years, and he is doing just that. Every time he’s out there, I believe I see progress.”

Dragusin’s adjustment to Tottenham’s system has been challenging, according to Postecoglou, as he came from a different style of play in Genoa.

“He had Archie next to him who is 18 and I thought he really stood up in that time just to make sure with those disruptions, we maintained the organization and I thought he was really good.”
