Along with Carvalho, Liverpool has told another young talent that he can go on loan – according to reports.

Fabio Carvalho isn’t the only young Liverpool player who could be loaned out during the summer transfer window

Fabrizio Romano told the Here We Go podcast earlier this week that the 20-year-old will leave Anfield in the off-season, though he didn’t say whether it would be temporary or permanent.

90min have since clarified that any move for the attacking midfielder would not be a full sale, with the player being informed by Reds management that he will be loaned out next season.

Calvin Ramsay is another player who has been told he can leave temporarily, with Liverpool hoping to find a Premier League club to sign him on a one-year deal in 2023/24.

Since joining from Aberdeen last summer, the 19-year-old has had a frustrating first season at Anfield.

His only senior appearance, aside from a start against Derby in the Carabao Cup, was a three-minute cameo off the bench against Napoli when the Reds were already through to the last 16 of the Champions League (Transfermarkt).

His cause has been harmed by the fact that his campaign was cut short in February due to an injury, with his initial medical at Liverpool revealing a previously undetected stress fracture in his back (Daily Record).

Ramsay could benefit from a loan move elsewhere once he returns to the field, but Jurgen Klopp should think twice before authorizing his departure.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is the only other natural senior right-back at Anfield, so loaning out the Scottish teenager could leave the Reds extremely thin in that position, especially with the Englishman enjoying success in a new inverted full-back role.

If Liverpool brings in an established option in the summer to cement that spot in the team, it might make sense to let the 19-year-old go on loan, but not before.
