Tottenham target Manor Solomon’s agent has revealed that his client wants to stay in the Premier League.
Solomon, who is still nominally owned by Shakhtar Donetsk, spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Fulham because FIFA determined that international players in Ukraine may suspend their contracts in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion.

Although the 23-year-old was not a regular starter for Marco Silva‘s side this season, he impressed enough for the Cottagers to reportedly want him on a permanent basis.
However, The Athletic claimed last month that Fulham face competition from Tottenham for the Israeli international, with the Lilywhites dominating the fight for his signing.
Solomon’s current contract with Shakhtar expires in December, but the club’s CEO, Sergei Palkin, has vowed to sue Tottenham if they acquire the winger on a free transfer, claiming it is unjust that the Ukrainian club would not get any transfer money for the player.

Gilad Katsav, the winger’s agent, has now confirmed that the attacker wishes to remain in England at the start of next season.
When questioned about Solomon‘s future, he told Sport5: “He has a contract with Shakhtar until December.” Our objective is to keep him in England since it is what he desires.
“There are many reports that are false, and some that are partially true.” If we have anything to say, we will say it.”

Spurs Online Opinion
Even if Tottenham thinks Solomon is an intriguing profile, they may not want to become embroiled in a legal struggle over his contract position.
That might encourage the North London club to look beyond the 23-year-old for other possible targets.
