After Rooney was fired, an ex-Celtic manager was named the next Birmingham manager.

Previous Celtic supervisor Tony Mowbray has been selected the new chief of Birmingham City on a two-year bargain

The 60-year-old replaces Wayne Rooney who was sacked after only three months responsible for the English Title side.

Mowbray was rearward in the burrow at Sunderland where he was feeling much better of his obligations recently after an unfortunate run of results.

Representing the initial time in the wake of assuming responsibility at Birmingham City, he said: “I can hardly stand by to get back on the preparation pitch and begin working with this skilled gathering of players.

My emphasis is on building their certainty, conveying results, and giving Blues fans a group they can be invigorated by and glad for.

I know from individual experience how energetic Bluenoses are, home and away, and I’m anticipating having their full help for the group beginning on Saturday at home to Swansea City.”
