According to rumours, Liverpool has made an offer for Matheus Cunha. Atletico Madrid proposed an intriguing deal
This is from 90 minutes. According to reports, Atletico Madrid is looking for a new home for Matheus Cunha. This entails offering him to clubs, one of which being Liverpool.
Atletico Madrid has a deal in mind as well. They’re willing to loan him somewhere with the opportunity to buy. In other words, before making a permanent choice, a team can look at Cunha.
According to reports,’many of the sides’ are considering the transaction. It’s unclear whether Liverpool is one of them, but it’s a deal we’d want to see.
Liverpool provided Cunha, Matheus
Cunha is a fan of ours, and we believed Liverpool would sign him back in 2021. Despite the fact that Hertha BSC was fighting relegation at the time, he was shining brightly.
And Cunha accomplished it at the age of 22. He has the capacity to produce and score goals, which is why he has earned 8 caps for Brazil in the last two years.
Cunha is now 23 years old and no longer works out at Atletico. Not that he’s the only one; Joao Felix is also rumored to be departing the club in 2023.
Cunha, in other words, isn’t in the appropriate club. This opens the door for the ‘right’ club to make a move, which might very well be Liverpool. They’ve lost Luis Daz for the next few months, and Diogo Jota is also out. Cunha might fill in at the forward spots.
And is he a long-term replacement for Roberto Firmino? He’ll be out of contract in the summer, and the Reds will be looking for a replacement. Cunha’s ingenuity could fill his void – or at least present Liverpool an alternative as they deliberate over a new deal.
Then we’d want to see Liverpool try Cunha for six months. There doesn’t appear to be anything at stake.
