According to a rumor, Rangers would pay more to attract midfield talent.

The Daily Mail claims that Aberdeen will try to sabotage Rangers’ effort to sign Dundee midfielder Lyall Cameron.

The British tabloid stated on its website on January 24 that the Dons want to persuade Cameron that Pittodrie would be a better option for his long-term goals than Ibrox.

In order to stave off the growing interest from their Scottish Premiership rivals, Philippe Clement has been urged to sign the midfield player “in a heartbeat.” Aberdeen will lose to Rangers for Lyall Cameron.

The Gers supporters might not have anticipated that the team would be able to outspend another club given the well-known financial difficulties at Ibrox.

There is still a significant distance between the top two and the rest of Scotland, even though their margin with Celtic is widening.

Aberdeen wcan, in fact, give Cameron more assurances about playing time and has a history of nurturing young players who can be sold for a high price in the future.

However, Rangers will always be Rangers, and when Glasgow’s blue side knocks, few young Scottish talents will be able to resist the call.

In addition, Connor Barron’s Bosman switch from Pittodrie to Ibrox last summer is a blatant example of the ideal setting for a great talent to grow.

The Gers need to take a bold approach to the transfer market, and it’s fantastic business to sign a midfield player who has provided eight goals and seven assists this season for nothing

Dundee would receive compensation if personal terms were agreed upon for the Scotland Under-21s international, but the payment would still be pocket change for a player of his quality.
