Gary Neville was not content with the choice to send Curtis Jones off for Liverpool today
The Reds were given their third red card of the Head Association season on Sunday, with Jones the most recent to be provided his walking orders.
It looked a little cruel on the 22-year-old, and commentating for Sky Sports, Gary Neville expressed that there was no plan from the Liverpool man.
“I know while you’re doing somebody, he wasn’t there to do somebody,” said the savant. “He’s showing him the end movement [on the VAR screen], yet that is not how it’s wound up there.
“His foot simply slips over the ball. Not really for me a red card and destroying the game is going.”
