In Thursday’s Euro qualifier match at Copenhagen, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored the opening goal for Denmark, who cruised to a 4-0 victory over San Marino
Hojbjerg hasn’t started a Premier League game for Spurs yet this year, but he said this week that he and Ange Postecoglou have talked clearly about the way forward and that he’s ready to do his best whenever he gets a chance (Bold).
Hojbjerg scores for Denmark The midfielder has undoubtedly demonstrated what he can do for his manager by leading Denmark to a crushing victory over San Marino.
When the ball dropped to him at the edge of the box on 26 minutes, the Tottenham player smashed a half-volley into the corner of the net.
After Onas Wind ended the game for San Marino toward the end of the first half, Joakim Maehle doubled the lead for the home team. In the final minute of extra time at Parken, Yussuf Poulsen came off the bench to complete the Danes’ comeback.

Opinion from the Spurs Web: Getting some playing time during the international break would be good for players like Hojbjerg, Davies, Perisic, Solomon, and others because they haven’t played much competitively since preseason.
