Nottingham Forest are considering a transfer for former Premier League striker Michy Batshuayi from Fenerbahce
Steve Cooper wants to bring in more firepower before the transfer window ends and Forest loses Brennan Johnson, who is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.
Batshuayi is now in communication with Nottingham Forest and Fenerbahce, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
As the transfer window closes, Nottingham Forest is racing against the clock to finalize the signing of the Belgian attacker.
Negotiations are on to bring Batshuayi to the City Ground; his transfer cost is €10 million.
Batshuayi has Premier League experience, having previously played for Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
Since 2021, the striker has represented Turkey on loan, first with Besiktas and most recently with Fenerbahce.
He has already helped Fenerbahce score this year with two goals in Europa Conference League tournaments.
