Recent Tottenham Hotspur media briefing from north London with comments to Ansu Fati and Eberechi Eze news in the wake of Michael Olise’s Chelsea decision

Many people have praised Tottenham’s success throughout the recent transfer window.

Hugo Lloris’ replacement has been replaced, Micky van de Ven has transferred from the Bundesliga to the Premier League to bolster Ange Postecoglou’s defense, and James Maddison’s £40 million transfer from Leicester City has added additional inventiveness to the attack.

Harry Kane’s spectacular transfer to Bayern Munich, however, has put the onus on the team to use the proceeds to bring in more new players. Eberechi Eze, a midfielder for Crystal Palace, is one player who might relocate to north London.

The English international, who joined the Eagles from QPR, is among the team’s most exciting players. With 10 goals and four assists last season, he had his best Premier League campaign. This summer, he has a number of suitors.

Spurs were allegedly keeping an eye on the 25-year-old earlier this month, and now that Michael Olise has renewed his contract at Selhurst Park, Daniel Levy would be free to make an offer.

After previously losing Wilfried Zaha, Palace were extremely unlikely to permit Olise and Eze to leave during the same window. Now that Olise has committed to staying, Spurs may move.

The potential of Eze moving to north London is exciting and, for some, a no-brainer, according to football.london. He’s an attractive person because of his attacking skills, but I’m not sure he’s what we need.
With Maddison’s transfer from Leicester, the midfield now boasts some much-needed creativity. There are just 11 players Postecoglou can choose from, and Maddison is likely to play in a midfield trio with Son Heung-min, Richarlison, and Dejan Kulusevski.

The most recent addition to Daniel Levy’s group of attacking reinforcements is Barcelona’s Ansu Fati. According to rumours in Europe, Spurs have contacted super-agent Jorge Mendes about offering the Spain international a long-term contract.

This information follows the assertion that Fati wants to leave Barcelona because he thinks Xavi doesn’t trust him. The 20-year-old has fallen down the Spanish hierarchy as Abde Ezzalzouli and Lamine Yamal have made their names known. They both replaced him before Getafe at the weekend.

Unfortunately for Spurs, rivals Arsenal in north London are also interested.
