Diogo Jota and Alexis MacAllister appear to be building quite a partnership at Liverpool, which the Portuguese forward adores
The summer signing assisted the 26-year-old’s second goal in the Reds’ 4-2 pre-season friendly win against Karlsruher on Wednesday, and the two were earlier involved in a beautiful piece of link-up play to which Cody Gakpo also contributed.
In Jurgen Klopp’s team, the ex-Wolves and ex-Brighton players rapidly appear to be on the same wavelength, and the number 20 clearly enjoys having the World Cup champion as a teammate.

When questioned about the link-up between him and Mac Allister after yesterday’s game, Jota said, “I really like this type of player.” people can see the passes; all you have to do is make the run, and people will notice. That’s incredible.
“I’m starting to see how well I can connect with him, and hopefully we can carry this into the season.”
When asked about the Argentine, the 26-year-old’s facial expression plainly suggested that he enjoys having him as a new colleague, and the idea of the duo teaming up to deadly effect during the season has us very thrilled!
