Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already signed two internationals this summer, but more superstars might be on their way to Merseyside before the transfer window ends

Despite the additions of Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai, Liverpool will remain active in the transfer market.

The Reds parted ways with first-team regulars Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, and James Milner at the end of June and must now find long-term successors. Another midfielder could be signed before the new season begins.

Jurgen Klopp wants to avoid a repetition of last season, when Liverpool finished fifth in the Premier League and failed to qualify for the Champions League. With the exception of the Community Shield, they also failed to reach the distance in cup tournaments.

Surprise Valverde deal
According to The Guardian, Liverpool are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde. Klopp is said to be preparing a £77 million bid for the Uruguay international, 24, who has become as an important member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad in recent years.

According to reports, Liverpool’s interest in Valverde stems from Jude Bellingham’s decision to join Real Madrid rather than Liverpool. The 20-year-old midfielder just moved from Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund to the Spanish capital for a fee of £115 million.

Valverde is unlikely to leave Real Madrid for Liverpool, but a midfielder might leave. Bellingham, Valverde, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Eduardo Camavinga, Dan Ceballos, and Aurelien Tchouameni have joined the 14-time European winners.

Premier League clubs are aware of this, and a loan move for one of these midfielders, possibly Tchouameni, could be in the works. Real will not want to sell its younger players, with Modric and Kroos nearing the conclusion of their careers.

Thiago’s most recent
Clubs in Saudi Arabia are interested in signing Thiago Alcantara, as revealed in our recent transfer round-up. The 32-year-old midfielder, who has one year left on his contract, is thought to desire to stay at Anfield and has already rejected down a hefty offer.

However, according to The Telegraph, Liverpool are willing to sell Thiago this summer. The Reds are unlikely to demand a large fee for the Spaniard following his £20 million bargain move from Bayern Munich three years ago.

Enzo Fernandez

According to O Jogo, Argentina’s World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez is prioritizing a move to Premier League powerhouse Liverpool, despite interest from Manchester City, Barcelona, and Real Madrid

Benfica took a chance and did something that no one else would have done just six months ago. They triggered Enzo Fernandez’s River Plate contract’s £18 million release clause.

Even the most optimistic Benfica fan could not have guessed how far Enzo would come in such a short time.

On Sunday night at Qatar’s Lusail Stadium, the 21-year-old playmaker smiled for photos while wearing a World Cup winner’s medal around his neck, the Young Player of the Tournament award in one hand, and the Jules Rimet in the other.

Meanwhile, his asking price has grown from £18 million to roughly £100 million, with the Portuguese giants reluctant to allow Enzo leave for anything less than his astronomical release clause.

LIVERPOOL LEAD THE CHASE TO SIGN WORLD CUP WINNER ENZO FERNANDEZ FROM ARGENTINA.

The Merseyside giants have already signed an arrangement with Enzo’s club, according to La Capital. O Jogo has now provided evidence to back up his assertion. Liverpool will also match any bid made by competing suitors, who include Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, and Manchester United.

Liverpool appears to be given ‘priority’ by Enzo.
Enzo has made it obvious that he wants to become the most expensive signing in the history of one of Europe’s most prestigious footballing institutions. And, as his remarkable performances in the Qatar World Cup demonstrated, he is not a man who buckles under pressure.

Liverpool also has a solid working relationship with Benfica. Last August, they agreed to a £64 million deal for Darwin Nunez.

“He has a bright future,” Argentina captain Lionel Messi said of Fernandez, who started the final victory over France on Sunday. “Enzo is exceptionally brilliant. He oozes charisma and makes amazing passes. Spectacular.”

His playing ability is simply astounding. “At only 21 years old,” ex-Real Madrid coach Jose Peseiro says.

“The best player with whom I worked at Real Madrid was Zinedine Zidane.” Of course, I don’t want to make comparisons. But I’m referring to Enzo’s fleeting and striking vision, which makes me think of Zidane.

“What is Enzo’s age?” Is he 21?” That’s either a lie or a genius!”
