According to Sport1’s lead reporter, Kerry Hau, Liverpool’s ambitions to bring Gravenberch to Merseyside go back considerably longer.

In an interview with RedMenTV, Hau stated that Liverpool began talks with the Dutchman’s camp in February. Gravenberch is also “very interested” in joining the Reds, according to Hau.

If Tuchel cannot guarantee starts, Gravenberch wants to join Liverpool.
“If you give that many interviews saying you’re unhappy with your situation, I don’t think you’re completely happy at Bayern Munich,” Hau remarked.

“I know they [Gravenberch and his camp] spoke with Liverpool in February, and he is very interested in trying to join Liverpool and get into the Premier League.”

“It’s a desire, but he also understands that if Thomas Tuchel says, ‘I will count on you 100 percent,’ there’s a chance he’ll stay.”

“Right now, things are quite challenging. They will speak, and you must communicate and have a clear plan, since he joined Bayern last season because they offered him a starting spot, confidence, and the opportunity to represent the Netherlands at the World Cup.

“In the end, he did not play for Bayern Munich and did not participate in the World Cup.” He became agitated and informed certain teammates that he is unhappy in Munich and wishes to leave.

“It’s always a sign for a player if he speaks in public that you’re unhappy, and it wasn’t just one interview, it was five or six.”

“Bayern Munich knows he’s eager to try something new if Tuchel doesn’t see him as a regular starter.”

Liverpool will find out their destiny following the Under-21 Euros.
