Alexis MacAllister, a World Cup champion midfielder, was just signed by Liverpool for £35 million, but Fabrizio Romano predicts that this is just the beginning of the Reds’ summer transfer activity.

According to a reputable transfer expert, Liverpool is actively pursuing the signings of two further new midfielders in addition to Mac Allister this summer.
Just concentrating on the midfield, the Reds should designate a defensive midfielder as their next objective after acquiring Mac Allister, who is such a gifted and imaginative force.

Alexis MacAllister, a World Cup champion midfielder, was just signed by Liverpool for £35 million, but Fabrizio Romano predicts that this is just the beginning of the Reds’ summer transfer activity.
Liverpool’s list of potential targets appears to be becoming fewer and shorter, with one rumored target, Manuel Ugarte, having already joined PSG.

We’ll examine three players Liverpool may recruit to fill Fabinho‘s present position after the Brazilian had a lackluster 22/23 season.

ROMEO LAVIA:

The first name on our list is Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, who has previously been often linked with a move to the Reds.

Lavia, a midfielder with a strong defensive mindset, played 29 times for the South Coast club in the Premier League last season and registered one goal.
Even though he plays for a Southampton team that is really bad, his defensive statistics seem strong.

His strengths are short passes, tackles, interceptions, and blocks, while his weaknesses are moving with the ball and shooting.

The 19-year-old, who had only joined from Manchester City last summer, is destined to quit the club following the Saints’ relegation from the Premier League last month.

Recent rumours indicate that Liverpool would be quite interested in the teenager if the player authorized the transfer, with a rumored transfer value of approximately £40 million.
According to reports, Chelsea will challenge Liverpool for the services of the Belgian international.

MOISES CAICEDO:

Given the low cost at which Mac Allister departed the team, Moises Caicedo of Brighton would unquestionably be the most expensive player on this list.

The 21-year-old’s price tag will probably be in the neighborhood of £70 million, with Arsenal the front-runners to sign him.

The Ecuadorian international resembles N’golo Kante more than your usual defensive midfielder like Fabinho or Rodri.

A little but incredibly swift athlete that can contribute to the development of his team’s offensive play while also covering a lot of territory.

The throwing percentage and defensive measures like tackles, interceptions, and blocks are Caicedo’s strong suits.

He is one of the Premier League’s most complete midfielders thanks to the mix of his technical skills and broad physical capabilities.

SOFYAN AMRABAT:

The last player on our list is Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, who has been linked with moves to clubs like Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester United as a result of his impressive showings at the World Cup in Qatar.

The 26-year-old was a key contributor as Morocco advanced to the tournament’s semifinals, defeating teams like Belgium and Portugal along the way.

Amrabat not only contributed significantly to Morocco’s victory but was also a mainstay in Fiorentina’s midfield, where he made a total of 49 appearances across all competitions.

Amrabat shares the same physical attributes as Fabinho, the current defensive midfielder for Liverpool, but is maybe more physically dominant than the Brazilian has been lately.

The parties connected to Amrabat are more than capable of paying Fiorentina’s expected asking price of approximately £30 million for the midfielder.

The primary difficulty with this strategy is that Amrabat has openly expressed a desire to play in Spain, with Barcelona being his favourite venue.
