Qualification for the Champions League could have a significant impact on the summer transfer market. Although there is no doubt that recruitment will be necessary regardless, the additional funds, on which FSG has always relied, could go a long way toward dictating who Liverpool can buy.

Liverpool is preparing a $93 million (£75 million/€85 million) offer to entice Barella away from Inter at the end of the current season, according to Sportmediaset (via FCInterNews).
Despite his status as a symbol and one of Simone Inzaghi’s current leaders, Barella is said in the report to have no intention of defecting from the Italian side.
According to Liverpool.com, Barella would be the most high-profile signing to appease fans now that Liverpool has decided against signing Jude Bellingham.
