As the race for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi heats up, Liverpool are interested in signing him this summer
Guehi is emerging as one of the Premier League’s top young defenders. He recently made his England debut and has performed admirably for Palace since signing for £18 million.
A number of clubs, including Tottenham and Arsenal, are reportedly interested in signing Guehi.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool is also interested in the big centre-back.

Palace are thought to want around £50 million to even consider selling a player regarded as ‘brilliant’ for the Eagles.
With the Euros in 2024, Guehi may see this as his chance to make an impression at a bigger club, and Liverpool and other clubs will be interested.
Guehi began his career at Chelsea but was signed by Palace after several impressive loan spells. Palace has him under contract until 2026, so they currently hold all of the cards.
A large bid, however, could tempt Palace, who are also fighting to keep star man Wilfried Zaha.
Guehi has the potential to shine for the Reds.
Marc Guehi is an outstanding young defender. At 22, he has plenty of time to improve, and the prospect of learning alongside Virgil van Dijk is an exciting prospect.
Liverpool also has Ibou Konate on their books. But, with Joe Gomez never quite hitting his stride and Joel Matip breaking through, there could be room for Guehi here.
It would be surprising if the defender did not leave this summer. And if it is Liverpool, it is a huge coup for the Anfield club.
