Moltzan Delighted With Long-Awaited Slalom Podium

Paula Moltzan echoed the sentiments shared on the podium after securing a significant result in her season. The 31-year-old celebrated the eighth World Cup podium finish of her career, with three of those coming this winter, but this marked her first slalom podium of the current campaign.
Moltzan admitted the result felt overdue, describing it as a rewarding moment after consistent effort throughout the season. She expressed gratitude for finally achieving a slalom podium this year, noting that it had been a long-term goal she had been working toward with patience and determination.
A key highlight for Moltzan was the progress she has made in narrowing the gap to teammate Mikaela Shiffrin. She explained that pushing herself closer to Shiffrin’s level has been a major focus all season, and this result confirmed that her hard work is paying off.
The American skier also emphasized how special it was to share the podium with her teammates once again. Racing alongside familiar faces made the achievement even more meaningful, reinforcing the strong bond within the U.S. team.
Reflecting on the moment, Moltzan said standing on her third slalom podium with Shiffrin was, as always, an incredible experience. The result not only boosted her confidence but also underlined her consistency and competitiveness as the season progresses.
