Oscar Tshiebwe Continues to Dominate the Glass—Now in the G League
Oscar Tshiebwe, the former Kentucky Wildcats star and National Player of the Year, just wrapped up one of the most impressive seasons in NBA G League history—especially when it comes to rebounding. And for Big Blue Nation, his incredible numbers come as no surprise.
Now on a two-way contract with the Utah Jazz, Tshiebwe averaged 17.1 points and a staggering 19 rebounds per game, setting a new all-time G League record. He tallied 20 or more rebounds in 16 different games, showcasing the same relentless motor that made him a legend in Lexington.

Tshiebwe made headlines at Kentucky with his record-setting rebounding efforts, and he’s clearly not slowing down in the pros. As his second year with the Jazz organization winds down, he also got a taste of NBA action, finishing the regular season averaging 7.6 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. In his last five NBA appearances, he pulled down double-digit boards each time.
After this dominant G League season, Tshiebwe has proven he’s more than ready for a bigger role at the next level—and the Jazz appear to be taking notice. Don’t be surprised if he becomes a regular fixture in Utah’s rotation during the 2025–26 season.
