Top 2025 Recruits Heading to the ACC: Duke Dominates, Rivals Reload
After a rough 2024–25 season, ACC basketball is poised for a resurgence, and the incoming 2025 recruiting class is a big reason why. Five ACC programs secured top-10 classes nationally, and 11 of the nation’s top 30 players will suit up in ACC uniforms next season.
Leading the charge is Duke, which snagged three of the top 10 ACC-bound recruits, more than any other program. Meanwhile, North Carolina and NC State both landed the highest-rated prospects of their modern recruiting histories. Here’s a look at the top 10 2025 commits entering the ACC:
10. Matt Able – SG, NC State

Final Ranking: No. 28 Overall | No. 6 SG
Able is the Wolfpack’s most hyped recruit since Dennis Smith Jr. He committed to NC State over powerhouses like Alabama and Texas. A three-level scorer with high basketball IQ, Able fits perfectly into coach Will Wade’s system.
9. Sadiq White Jr. – PF, Syracuse

Final Ranking: No. 26 Overall | No. 5 PF
One of the most athletic players in the class, White brings instant defensive impact to the Orange. While his offensive game is still developing, his explosiveness and potential are off the charts.
8. Shelton Henderson – SF, Miami

Final Ranking: No. 25 Overall | No. 7 SF
After decommitting from Duke, Henderson followed former assistant Jai Lucas to Miami. The physically gifted forward brings size, strength, and versatility, with a skillset that thrives on both ends of the floor.
7. Cayden Boozer – PG, Duke

Final Ranking: No. 23 Overall | No. 4 PG
The son of Carlos Boozer, Cayden is a poised, intelligent floor general. His court vision, feel for the game, and size make him a strong candidate to start right away at Duke.
6. Jalen Haralson – SF, Notre Dame

Final Ranking: No. 18 Overall | No. 4 SF
A huge win for Notre Dame, Haralson is the highest-ranked Irish commit in the modern era. He’s a strong, skilled wing with the ability to create offense and defend at a high level.
5. Mouhamed Sylla – C, Georgia Tech

Final Ranking: No. 17 Overall | No. 2 C
A mobile, physical 6’10” center from Senegal, Sylla brings elite rim protection and finishing ability. Expect him to contend for All-ACC Defensive honors as a freshman.
4. Nikolas Khamenia – SF, Duke

Final Ranking: No. 15 Overall | No. 3 SF
Khamenia is a stat-sheet stuffer with elite passing, a smooth shot, and a sharp basketball mind. Expect early minutes at Duke thanks to his all-around polish and versatility.
3. Caleb Wilson – PF, North Carolina

Final Ranking: No. 8 Overall | No. 3 PF
UNC’s lone McDonald’s All-American in this class, Wilson is an elite athlete and defensive anchor with growing offensive skills. He led his high school to a state title while stuffing the stat sheet nightly.
2. Mikel Brown Jr. – PG, Louisville

Final Ranking: No. 6 Overall | No. 2 PG
The most highly rated Louisville recruit since 2008, Brown is a polished playmaker with elite handles, passing, and shot-making ability. He’ll be a key part of Louisville’s rebuild.
1. Cameron Boozer – PF, Duke

Final Ranking: No. 3 Overall | No. 1 PF
Arguably the most complete player in the class, Boozer (Cayden’s twin) has a mature game beyond his years. He’s dominant on both ends and will be a cornerstone for Duke from day one.
